The Brutal Nation Podcast is a dark and sinister series with your hosts Scott Alexander and Tammy Underwood. Two individuals focused on delving into the world of lesser-known serial killers from across the globe. First, they begin by exploring the background of each killer featured. For instance, you will be provided with as much detail as possible about their early life. Specifically when and where they were born, as well as their family life. Granted, oftentimes, this information is hard to come by, but Scott and Tammy do their best to uncover it for you. Second, they attempt to provide listeners with as much detail of the killer’s criminal life they can find. From their perspective, this information is vitally important when discussing each individual killer they are featuring.
Finally, the Brutal Nation Podcast hosts add their own commentary on what they feel drove each killer to commit these horrific atrocities. To be sure, they by no means claim to be experts in the field of criminal psychology. However, they have each always had a fascination with the subject matter and they want to share that fascination with others. Moreover, Scott and Tammy would like to make it clear that they do not, at any time condone the actions of these individuals. They simply have a desire to offer their perspective and perhaps provide an alternative viewpoint. Scott and Tammy focus on a different genre of serial killer each day of the week.
